Maison Bereche was founded in 1847. A grower champagne now run by two brothers, Raphael and Vincent Bereche, who now focus on Biodynamic principles for their winemaking . Located in the town of Ludes in the Montagne de Reims. The Brut reserve is an equal blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Munier with 35% of reserve wines added to the finished wine. The champagne is aged for 36 months on its lees which adds a complex nutty character to the wine. The aging also gives a richness which enhances the fruit profile of the wine with confit lemon ,dried apricots and floral tones of chamomile. The finishes with a chalky minerality, adding to the complexity of this exceptional champagne.
